Bodywork
Integrative bodywork works with the soft tissue in such a way as to bring about mechanical (increase range of motion/decrease pain and inflammation), physiological (improve circulation and immune system function), and psychological (decrease stress and anxiety) change. Whether you have a pasture pal or performance athlete, regular body work can provide relief from injuries, soreness, and various lameness issues, decrease recovery time, increase flexibility/range of motion, aid in calming numerous behavioral issues, and much more. Regardless if it is pre/post event, maintenance, or other, massage helps to attain and maintain healthy functioning systems of the body, thus ultimately assisting with prevention.
EnergyHealing/Reiki/ShamanicHealing
Animal based energy therapy works in the same capacity as does human Reiki, healing body, mind, and spirit. Because it is gentle and non-invasive, Reiki does not cause stress to the animals, thus making it an ideal form of healing therapy. Energy does not know the boundries of time and space, so Reiki can also be done from a distance. This is very beneficial for those animals who are sensative to touch but are in need of healing.
Shamanic healing begins with the shamanic practitioner “journeying” in non-ordinary reality in an effort to establish relationships with the helping spirits, guides, and teachers. The intent is to seek advice, request healings, and bring back information for an individual and their pet. Aside from resolving illness, transforming emotional trauma, and facilitating behavior modification, this work can assist with crossing over and getting in touch with those who have passed on. By reconnecting the animal client with their own helping spirits, shamanism aids in restoring their personal power.
AnimalCommunication
Human beings have communicated via the verbal or spoken language for a very long time. So long, that many have forgotten the more subtle forms of having a two-way conversation. Long before the spoken word carried so much meaning, other, more subtle forms of communication ruled the earth. Going beyond understanding physical body language, the art form of animal communication relies on the ability to send and recieve thoughts, images, feelings (energy of emotions), sensations (smells, tastes, etc.) and even sometimes just trusting your inner knowing! Whether asking questions of wellness, behavioral modification, connection with those who have transitioned, or just for fun ;) animal communication builds the bond and deepens the connection we share with our animal friends.
